Dexter's Inn is a 20-acre estate in Sunapee, New Hampshire, wrapped in panoramic views of Mount Sunapee and the rolling countryside. Weddings here are weekend-long: the entire estate is yours from 3 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Sunday, with three buildings on site sleeping up to 50 guests. Ceremonies take place on the expansive lawns for as many as 225 guests, cocktail hour moves to the patio or the common rooms of the historic inn, and the reception fills a lighted high-peak tented pavilion. Every package includes the tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, wedding coordination, staffing and setup and breakdown, so the weekend is planned around you from the first arrival to the last goodbye.

Taxes & fees: A $4,500 non-refundable deposit is due when the date is confirmed. Linens are included based on polyester selections; other linen options are available at additional cost. A full booking of the Inn for the wedding weekend is required, and those room rates are quoted separately — guests typically pay for their own rooms, except under the Platinum package, which includes accommodations for 50 guests. Applicable tax is not published.
