Cardigan Lodge is the Appalachian Mountain Club's historic lodge in Alexandria, New Hampshire, two hours from Boston, taken on exclusive use for two nights and three days. Ceremonies happen in a natural cathedral of white pines, at a wooden arbor, in a pondside field of wildflowers, on the lodge's patio and porch, or beside the cozy fireplace niche indoors. Shared meals are served in the timber-framed dining room, which seats up to 80, and buffet meals reach up to 150 guests under an event tent. From May through October the weekend is full service, with all meals and reception catering, lodge rooms for up to 60 and camping for 40 included in one $25,000 rate with gratuity and tax. From November through April it runs self-service, with the commercial kitchen open to your own catering partners.
