East Bay budget guide

East Bay wedding venues under $25,000 for 100 guests

A $25,000 venue-and-food budget is realistic for several kinds of East Bay venues at 100 guests. The useful question is not only which venues fit, but which dates keep them there. Start with the local cost pattern, then compare the venues and their full pricing breakdowns.

How to stay under budget

What changes the cost in the East Bay

The cleanest savings come from changing the calendar before cutting the guest list or the meal. These are median changes at East Bay venues that publish comparable rates for the same wedding—not broad Bay Area assumptions.

At venues that publish these charges, service charges, administrative fees, and tax add about 24% to the venue-and-food subtotal. We already include them in the estimates on this page when a venue lists them, so you do not need to add 24% again. In current East Bay pricing, the typical administrative fee is 22%, the typical service charge is 20%, and tax is 10.25%. Not every venue charges all three, so check its breakdown.

These are planning estimates rather than quotes or guarantees. Venue-fee-only listings are not included because catering would still need to be added. Open any venue to adjust the guest count, inspect the pricing breakdown, and review its spaces and policies.

Questions worth asking

  • What would the same package and guest count cost on our date versus a peak Saturday?
  • Which service charges, administration fees, taxes, and staffing costs are already included?
  • Does the lower-season price keep the same spaces, food minimum, and event hours?
How this guide is built

Sage models a 100-guest event from venue-published pricing. This page includes only venues whose modeled estimate covers both the venue and food and falls in a public price band below $25,000. Regional costs and date changes are medians of comparable published estimates; missing weekday or month rates are not treated as zero savings. The guide excludes venue-fee-only numbers because catering would still need to be added. Venues cannot pay to appear or rank here.
